PORT LAND SURVEYOR

SALARY: $9,878 - $12,235 per month
The Port of Oakland is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Port Land Surveyor. This is a single position class responsible for all surveys and boundary related work including planning, scheduling and coordinating the work of all surveying, mapping, land records and GIS activities at the Port of Oakland. Information is reported in the form of completed maps, reports, graphical web databases, or numeric data from which plans can be drawn or construction completed.
The minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited college with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or surveying PLUS three years of work experience at the Chief of Party level. Must possess a valid California license as a Professional Land Surveyor or pre-1982 Professional Civil Engineering license.
