Thank you CLSA!!!

With all of the back door discussions and assumptions being made recently about the proposed revisions to the By-Laws, I just want to say THANK YOU to all that have been involved with this process thus far.

I was a Chapter Representative when this all stated several years ago. Some members (and non-members) may not be familiar with the operations of the Board of Directors and the time they spend for the benefit of California Land Surveyors. All of their time is voluntary!!! They do not get any compensation for the hours they spend on travel to and from the Board Meetings in Oakland (four times a year), committees, and other issues related and associated as a Director.

Dorothy and her team of Crissy and Jessica also put a lot of time and effort into Central Office for us! Be it to keep things moving in a forward direction, preparing for the next Board Meeting, or planning for the next CLSA Conference which is a year round job alone. Have you ever gone to a CLSA Conference and seen any of them relaxing? Okay, maybe around 11 or 12 midnight when an activity is done, but they are back up the next morning getting things rolling around 7am (my guess).

I have been around here a few years, lol, and hope others can appreciate what Dorothy and AMS has done over the tenure which they have been contracted with CLSA. I hope they continue to do so, because I cannot think of anyone better to keep CLSA on the tracks moving forward.
