I don't have access to my hard copy annotated version of the Sub Map Act.
I cannot, for the life of me, remember the portion of the SMA that prevents 4x4ing.
Does anyone have the section available for me, please?
Thanks!

Ian-
The Map Act won't include any language hinting at the quartering or 4 x 4'ing prohibition; you just have to rely on 66426 which defines the final/parcel map requirements, then further add in the effect of the attorney general opinions- 61 Ops Cal Atty gen 114 (1978) & 55 Ops Cal Atty Gen 414, 417
(1972), and of course the Bright case.
