Sample CBT Letter from Prometric

Post by Ric7308 »

CLSA Main Office has received an inquiry with concerns that the letter sent to approved Land Surveyor exam candidates appears to be non-descript, which may lead some individuals to toss the letter in the trash without reading.

Indications from Prometric are that scheduling is proceeding very well, but Crissy suggested that it would be a good idea to post an example letter on the forum to help alleviate this concern. The envelope should state that letter is from Prometric.

Thanks

Maybe including the name would avoid confusion if the business has more than one applicant. Otherwise it looks good to me.

It needs the full board letterhead, the name of the individual applicant and Prometric should only be mentioned in the body of the letter and not in the letterhead area.

It was more of a problem with the envelope. Very junk mail looking, but hey, the good news is they sent 3 follow-up emails!

Did you get the one that said:

"Dear California Professional Land Surveyor Examination Candidate,

There was an error in the Authorization to Test notice sent to you via email on 2/10/12. See the updated version attached. If you have already scheduled your examination appointment, there is no additional action required. Please retain the updated notice for your records.

Prometric"

Very confusing, but as with change adaptions must be made. Reminds me of switching from R14 to a newer version of AutoCad and more resently to Carlson, each change had its headache but once the learning curve was passed it proved to be a viable decision.
