And the winner is?

Post by Steve Martin »

Who is our successful candidate?

The board just met yesterday. A notice today would be incredibly fast. 8578 is the last number posted on thelicense lookup site and that is probably someone who passed upon appeal last year.

Congratulations Raster!

I was just fishing for your name. I am sure we will see it when the license lookup comes out.

Congratulations again,

Is it listed as "Raster Master"? Or "Master, Raster"? I don't recall an application by that name.

Cool to see that people are receiving their notices. Staff spent all week stuffing the envelopes to be ready for approval at the Thursday Board Meeting. Not sure when the License Lookup will be updated as no one is at work today, but I would expect sometime next week.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I don't think I could have waited another week to find out. I was pumping extreme amounts of stomach acid!

Congratulations to everyone!

Congrats Peg! Paul Tonn also passed... Can't wait to see who else did!

Awesome job by BPELS staff in getting the results out. A pat on the back should also go to BPELS President Pat Tami, Ric Moore, and the Exam Development and Exam Grading teams.

Congrats Raster & Brian - Brian, Did you fell like it was a walk-off home run? I heard many people felt they were thoroughly tested...

Walk Off Homer

Post by Brian Christensen »

Yeah, I felt the test was complete, a little of everything.

If you took the test in Sacramento, you probably heard me "WHOOOOOOOOOOOO!" walking out of the exam room. I had a good feeling about it.

Interested to see what the pass/fail rate was.

Again, congratulations to everyone that passed! Great Job! Licensure as a PLS is something you must want really, really bad to get. I you don't have that kind of desire, you will probably never get it.

I would like to thank Tony Cuomo, John Pavlik and the rest of the folks a Pacific Land Seminars for thoroughly preparing me for the exam!

Looks like the northern CA people are receiving their letters. So Cal should get them today or Monday. Congrats everyone.

Congratulations everyone! I'll never forget how happy I was to receive the good news of my passing (the exam that is).

I wonder if Peg and Jean are the first licensed sisters in California? Seems quite possible that they are.

Bill Hofferber is CLSA's BPELS liaison. He reported today at the CLSA Board meeting that the pass rate was 31% - down slightly from the last 2 years (34 & 32). Cut score was 189/400 This exam was determined to be more difficult than the last 2 years... Cut score is in line with cut scores from the 1990s...
Get your names & dues in to your Chapter & state CLSA before July 30th is possible for inclusion in the 2009 Rosters to determine Chapter representation for next year... Then get involved on a professional level...

So far Iv'e heard of 4 in the Sacramento area - Peg, Paul Tonn, Chris Klema, and Tony Squelati... Way to go Sacto folks! Brian & Foster, where are you located?

My letter also stated April 2008. Chalk one up for San Bernardino/Riverside counties.
