Survey Equipment Stolen In Stockton

Last week we had a total station stolen, along with the attached data collector and tripod.

The party chief left the instrument to help the rod man pop a manhole lid. The lid was only a couple of hundred feet from the total station.

While the party cheif was assisting the rod man a car pulled up to the instrument. The isntrument was quickly grabbed and thrown into back window of the car. The car then took of down the street with the isntrument hanging out the window, still attached to the tripod.
