If you provide them a hard-drive 80GB or larger to put the files on and fill out the attached forms. There are instructions on the forms also. My drive was dropped off at about 9 AM yesterday and received notice that it was ready to pick up by 3 PM.
Thanks County Surveyor Brian Hess for making this data available.
Ryan.
Edit - I should say that they first announced this to the Riverside/San Bernardino Chapter of CLSA last month and it was published in the newsletter last month as well.

Had some emails asking about the info:
They have everything organized into separate folders for the following categories:
Benchmark Index cards
Corner Records – by year
Counter Books – CR and Tie Book index maps
ECS Maps
Hanging Files – Wall sheets w/ recorded maps
Instruments – dedication and easement documents to county
Map Books – Tract Maps From book 425 down to Book 80
Parcel Maps – Book 1 to Book 222
Records of Survey – Book 1 to Book 125
Each book is in a separate folder and each page is a separate PDF named by book and page.
It’s very well organized.
