Happy End to Surveyors Week!

In a conversation last night among a couple surveyors, we questioned why there was nothing on the CLSA Home Page acknowledging Surveyors Week?

I thought there was a Public Outreach or Public Awareness Committeem, maybe I'm wrong?

If we don't do the obvious and simple things, those who say our profession is a dying breed (in time) are correct. Not even one post on this forum referencing Surveyors Week, hmmmm.

Now back to our regularly scheduled mapping!

I chaired the National Surveyors Week years ago and I got great publicity and media coverage. I offered to chair the public outreach committee/national surveyors week/public relations committee for the state but was repeatedly informed there is a committee in place handling all of these things. I inquired about these efforts several times, to no avail.
