corner ecord note

Post by land butcher »

Conditions of approval of a PM Surveyor is required to set a tract line mon on CL of a road and submit corner record ties to the mon.

Surveyor submits CR showing mon as set per PMxxxxxxx.

Correction comes back that mon is to be shown as fd per PMxxxxxx.

opinions?

To me shown as fd is confusing.

yes.

The setting of the mon was required per the COA of PM to be set AFTER completion of improvements.

Tie notes used to be required to be filed with the local agency, city or county, this is in the county so a CR is required showing the ties.

Stating fd per PM to me is confusing as the PM says fd spk, no tag, set spk and washer LSxxxxx.

If I understand it I'll offer; I don't think two documents should say "set" for the same physical monument. The map indicated the monument is set per its establishments and monument are often actually set after the ink has dried. The tie sheet or corner record is for the ties to the monument set per the PM.

So as you set it up, I'm good with the County's comment.

Now you have 1 opinion and 187 reads.
Take care,

OK. I guess it's looking at it from the outside and not the inside. Thanks
