October California PLS Exam

Hi All,

Authorizations to 183 approved candidates for the California state exam were emailed out on September 2, 2016 giving them instructions to contact Prometric for securing their seat at whatever CBT center. As of this morning, 110 of those have not contacted Prometric to schedule confirm their seat. Another email will be sent out shortly as a reminder. The email may be captured by spam.

If you know of anyone approved to sit for the exam or want to just notify a bunch of people just in case, please do. In the recent past when the numbers of people not registered were lower, staff personally called each candidate, but with this amount of people (not to mention the other disciplines) we just cannot dedicate that time. We would hate for these individuals to miss their opportunity.

Why isn't the Board sending letters via snail mail also?

I remember getting my notice to sit on the exam 24 hours before the date of the exam..............lovely. Wished I had gotten a follow up notification like this one.

I had even called the State a couple of weeks ahead of time. Maybe everyone is procrastinating.
