Desert and Riverside / San Bernardino Chapter Meetings

Due to scheduling the BPELSG board meeting (yesterday) in Riverside, we lucked out with the timing as several of us from BPELSG were able to attend the Desert Chapter meeting Wednesday night and the RSB Chapter meeting last night.

Wednesday night, Pat and I watched as Jay Seymour captivated the membership with his ever-evolving presentation. There were about 25-30 people in attendance which has to be a great showing for them.

Last night, 6 of us, including Pat and the Board President, attended the RSB meeting with about 60 people in attendance to hear the Riverside and San Bernardino County Surveyors describe their departments and future plans. Even Santa gave me a big hug and talked with the Board members!

We all very much enjoyed both meetings, seeing old friends, and meeting new ones. It helps to provide perspective for some of the board members and staff that have not had the opportunity to experience CLSA members in their best light. Thanks a lot for allowing us to be there.
