Photogrammetry Standards Statement

Post by Papi1960 »

Does anyone know of a good "Photogrammetry Accuracy Standards" statement for a Topographic Map?

Why not just cite to the standards to which the map was made, such as the NSSDA or the NMAS?

Photogrammetry Standards

Post by Papi1960 »

Well, we did a Topo/Bndy for some ADA work, mostly just walkways and parking lots, but we had it flown to show the site and building locations (There were not any overhangs on the buildings and were clear of tree coverage) After the Project was done, the client came back and wanted us to convert the survey to a HUD approved survey that conformed to minimum ALTA/ACSM standards. We wanted to put a statement on the Map as to the expected accuracy of the building locations based on an Aerial Topo done at 20 scale with 1' CI. I know what the accuracy standards are, but had never written a statement for oneto put on a map. I just wanted to know if anyone knew of any examples. Having read many of your posts, I can imagine the sort of response I might be getting. This could be interesting and informative...
