Life Changes
Having only one more week in private pratice, I have been reflecting alot about the past 25 years. Starting July 2, I will be moving over to the other side. Something I would not have done without the support and encouragement of many you out there. If I have negelected to thank you, I am sorry, soo many names and faces and I am aging. I am amazed and humbled to be a part of this wonderful profession of people I am greatful to have met and know as friends. I am not going away and will continue to see many of you, I just will not be stirring the pot as much.
Again thank you all for your support and enabling me to make this change.
Russ

Are you going into Architecture?
He must be talking about engineers or going to work for the "Gubbermit".

I would like to congratulate Russ on his position as the newest Mariposa County Surveyor. Russ has lived and worked most of his life in Mariposa, so it would seem fit that he takes over the responsibilities to oversee our County’s Survey Department and move it into the 19th century. Then he can try his hand at the 20th century and then the 21st century and so on.
Congratulations you are now a public servant … enjoy all the new challenges ahead.

Congratulations, Russ! This is terrific for you I'm sure.
Still couldn't find your way out of the sticks, though, could you? Keep your fireplace wood well stocked.

the drive each day will still be the same, to the stop sign and turn left, just need to remember to turn left 2 miles closer to home. Scott I will still be posting Pictures of Yosemite, as 70% is within Mariposa County and the County does have responisblity for some inholdings.
John the secret is I found my way back and am able to stay there.
All of you thank you for the kind words, I will try to live up to your expectations. I may also be calling and asking for advice.
