Looking for roomate for the Reno Conference

Post by Oxnard Kurt »

I am really looking forward to going to the CLSA conference in Reno. I have not been to any conference in a couple years.

But I have no shame in admitting I like to save a buck or two when I can. And I know I am not the only surveyor out there that is frugal.

I am looking for someone who is willing to split the room expense. Especially someone who is staying for the entire conference. I have already reserved a double non smoking with two Queen beds at the Silver Legacy checking in Friday March 23 and checking out Wednesday March 28th. Total cost at conference rates comes to $402.95 for the five nights.

I will make a clean roomate, I don't snore and I don't sleep naked.

Any takers?

Really...No one wants to save two hundred bucks?

I though you guys in the private section were hurting.

Surely there is a fellow Caltrans Surveyor who wants to go, but we are on our own dime for stuff like this.

would love to go but yes the private sector is very slow and frankly can not spend the extra money right now.

I will be there on Monday but I am paying all of my own fees out of my own pocket and taking the State vehicle up there would be completely out of the question so I pay for transportation too including 1 night room (hint-Silver Legacy will sell you a room for very cheap for Monday night).

Dave K.,

I would very much like to meet you while you're there. I'll keep my eye out for you.

See you soon.
