Thanks for a great BBQ & pot-luck picnic. Gary L did another fantastic job with the steaks, and the side dishes were great. As always, it is a treat to get together with colleagues from other Chapters and discuss the issues we face as a profession. Northern Counties, Gold Country, Sacramento, and Orange County Chapters were represented.

Wish I could have made it. Sent in my check, but then the fence fell down and I worked all day digging holes and such. Glad it was another good BBQ.

Northern Counties Chapter usually holds the BBQ/Pot-luck/picnic in July or August at a park in the country east of Marysville. This year it was on 7/16. It is always a great event, with a low key atmosphere and good discussion of issues of interest to the Surveying community. This year our long distance guests were Orange County Surveyor Ray Mathe and his family. The year before last, current San Diego Chapter President Justin Pallamary and his wife came to the event.

Plan on it for next year - The (Sacramento Chapter) Focal Point newsletter will have the info as soon as we get it from our neighbors to the North.
