Is the home page down? I was going to send a link to the guy that posted about his fence line in the "centerline" thread, but if the site is down then I won't.

I was going to tell him how to search for a surveyor on that page.

Thanks.

Phil,

I sent you another email. I checked and the main CLSA page is up now. I sent you the link to find a local surveyor, who can give you an acurate fee to survey your property. If you get a surveyor from San Diego to reply, you could get quite a different number that you would expect in Modesto (based on your earlier message). Please also read the link I sent on "How to Consult a Land Surveyor" which will give you the reasons why we can't just give you a ballpark figure based on what you posted.

Mr. Jeffers,

Three ways for you to go about this:

1. Assuming the CLSA home page gets back up and running, use the "Find a Surveyor" link and then directly contact some of the local surveyors with your specifics.

2. Do a Google or Yahoo search "+surveyor +modesto" and then directly contact some of the local surveyors with your specifics.

3. Pick up the Yellow Pages, look under "Surveyors, Land" and then directly contact some of the local surveyors with your specifics.

Posting your request for a price here won't do a lot of good. There are a couple of surveyors who practice in your area who contribute to this forum, and perhaps a few more who check in and read it, but your best course of action is to directly contact surveyors in your area.
