Here I am in East Tennessee... What a beautiful place... I am honored to spend a few days with some of North America's top Surveying and Mapping Educators... Crossfield, Ghilani, Hashimi, Paiva, Burtch, Gibson, Potts, and many others... The issues they face today, are similar to those of decades past... Recruitment, accreditation, funding, incorporating changing technlogy, succession planning, etc... Doesn't seem far from the challenges we face in our "working world" jobs...
How can we professionals recruit more students into the college programs?
Fresno State could use some help... All the Community Colleges could too... (except Santiago Canyon College - they are doing great things with/via the centralized Trig*Star program...)
