Definition of "official Map"

Post by Ian Wilson »

<embarassed grin>

For the life of me, I cannot find the statutory definition of "Official Map" as it appears in §8762 of the PLS Act.

</embarassed grin>

I've even asked that veritable Guru of the Hoodoo and Master of the Act, Man About Board, Ric7308, himself. (busy as he is, he hasn't been able to tear himself away long enough to come up with the proper reference)

So...my fellow perusers of the straight line, monitors of the astral signal, shooters of The Beam (and even the Jim sort), where in our venerable State's Statutes can I find the definition of "Official Map"?

Thanks in advance!

Ian

Go to dpwgis.co.la.ca.us/website/survey record and when you get past the "I Agree" button you can click on the Official Maps tab.

The one I am most familiar with is O.M. 1-8/42. Yep, 35 pages!

Click agree and look for the Official Maps tab, 5 books of examples. Enjoy!

Peter, Dave & Dennis,

Thanks for pointing Ian in the right direction. I knew I had seen that before, just hadn't nailed down the right section before now.
