MDSHS Meeting - TONIGHT 7pm

Sorry for the last minute post, as I meant to do last week when we finalized our meeting.
Tonight &pm (After Dinner Meeting) as we are trying something new to accommodate dinner.
With Zoom meetings, it is convenient, but we miss the in person social event, not to mention travel hardships for members/guest to participate.

Mark your calendars - The Mount Diablo Surveyors Historical Society is meeting next week, Tuesday August 5th at 7PM . You are invited to join us.
The meeting will start promptly at 7:00pm and is scheduled to end at approximate 8:00pm.
Please feel free to log in early (starting at 6:45pm) for a 15 minute social for friendly discussion (bring your own beverage).

Items in brief to be discussed:
We are planning a 175 year celebration of the setting of the Mount Diablo Initial point in July of 2026. Hard to believe this month marks 174 years since Mount Diablo Initial Point was set. Such a critical monument for so many of our surveys.
