Looks like having members only access to post comments
might be the way to go.

This Board is designed to be a place where the land surveying community can gather and hold discussion on various subjects in a professional environment. It is the goal of the CLSA Board of Directors to continue providing this valuable resource and allow every person to have an enjoyable experience...
Not being a member of the CLSA and with all the talk of locking non-members out I'm getting worried I'll no longer be able to view this forum at all. I don't exactly contribute but don't have anything to add I feel. I do enjoy reading up on some of the topics and gaining perspective from those who participate. I think the way the board is setup with certain forums either locked/restricted is fine. I would hope this board and some of it's forums stay open to the public for the benefit of the land surveying community at large as stated in the board rules. While I understand the ultimate decision may be made to lock this board for various reasons I just wanted to throw my two cents in.
Edit: I know there are multiple posts/polls discussing this matter but I posted here seeing it was the most current.

Unfortunately all the spammers are robots, programs that inject themselves using loopholes in the forum coding. I am also with agreement with RCS.

I practice in Oregon now but love to stay in touch with California Land Surveying, and this board is a great place to do just that. My 2 cents, Jp
