Per this website, as of this morning, there have been 10,117 views of this ad, but I have received ZERO responses. Seems that something may be going on. Some things I thought of are:

1. Everyone is working and no one is looking.
2. People who are working are happy where they are.
3. People who are working are adverse to change.
4. People just do not want to work for us.
5. A number of people are viewing again and again.
6. The number of views shown is not correct for some reason.

The "views" counter at the far right of the discussion forum is no real reflection of the usage. These numbers are highly inflated by web crawlers/bots searching for information. The true interest and number of readers can be measured by the number of views of attachments (the latest technical document has 42 views-which after the new rules is unusually high-quite typically less than 20). Additionally, when viewing the "replies" column it can be noted that most are single digit. Currently, there are only 6 double digit (10+) replies in the last 30 threads. There is only one thread of the last 30 that generated more than 20 replies.

Would you advise your children to be a surveyor? My eldest became a CPA, and does quite well.

I would certainly promote land surveying to my children. I know very little about the art of accounting but it does not seem appealing to my tastes. As an aside, my children are welcome and encouraged to attend law school should they feel an affinity, however they are strictly forbidden from becoming attorneys.
