This is a beta version but you can use it. We hope to include more searching features in the final version.

Here's an example of another form of interface. This page is our numeric listing of corner records, but there is a link to a downloadable index.

http://www.sjgov.org/pubworks/cornerrecords.htm

The zip file is a .kmz which will load into Google Earth. Our corner records are tagged and viewable by clicking on a tag.

Thanks go to our GIS personnel who keep this up to date.

I didn't mean to steal your thunder, or hijack the thread, but the issue was raised about whether other jurisdictions had similar indices.

After a quick check on the new database . . .

I like it Gwen! If I knew about this prior to the Conference I would have told you in person.

Aside from the research tool, its a quick way to get your grid number for the record of survey.

Gwen, good job. The GIS interactive map for CR is a helpful tool for research. Hopefully, we will see the same for other type of maps.
