Ok,

I have collected and processed several static shots thru OPUS, on a large project.

My intention is to enter these points into TGO and calibrate them to use as "plug and play" base station points while the remainder of the project is completed using RTK method.

However . . . . I have forgotten how to properly calibrate those points in TGO

AND . . . . my TGO manual has mysteriously disappeared.

Does anyone have experience on how to do this ?
(I guess all of this RTK has me spoiled and forgetful)

I have not used TGO for over a year (now using TBC - Trimble Business Center). Since we (Forest Service) typical always use SP coordinate systems, we rarely site calibrate.

Just a thought here: If you're talking about site calibrations using a "local" coordinate system, then a work around of TGO would performing a Site Calibration in the Trimble Survey Controller software on a TSC based data collector. Done a lot ton of those in the private sector over the years, and you can see the residuals before accepting the results.

I think I have it figured out. I found an office guide on line and can print out the instructions

After trying several times to enter lat/lon hgt points and their counterpart y,xz points, I find that TGO calibration does NOT work.

unless there is some unwritten trick to this, I cannot get the data to calibrate.

Forced to do it in the field which will take an extra day of field work.

Bummer that this software is not user friendly (or at least (dummy friendly)
