Don't do it!
Brokers cannot legally operate in CA. Well, I suppose they can if they have a place of business here and a CA LS on staff as "an owner, partner, or officer in charge of the land surveying practice of the business." But then, what would be the point of being a brokerage?
If they don't meet the criteria of a Land Surveying Business per §8729, you may be aiding and abetting unlicensed practice in facilitating their business by providing the surveying for them.
I seem to recall the Board putting something out about brokers a few years ago. If I can find it, I'll post. Otherwise maybe somebody else has it readliy available and can post it.

a title block that CLEARLY AND UNAMBIGUOUSLY IDENTIFIES the LAND SURVEYOR who is by law in responsible charge for the ALTA/ACSM LAND TITLE SURVEY and how to DIRECTLY,without resorting to intermediaries, contact that surveyor... perhaps something like this could make it into the next revised standards
