Flood plain experts

Looking at property SE of indianapolis, IN. Not for me, it snows there.
It is near what they call a stream, we would rate it one step below a navigable river LOL
It was in flood plain A, there is document from June 2008 removing the structure from the flood plain.
My concern is this removal letter indicates that the NFIP map is under revision, and this determination could be superseded.
I have not even looked at flood plain stuff in over 10 years.
The county has a flood plain map on their site but I could not get the contours to plot or find a date on it.
Any help is welcomed.
