James “Norman†Payne – Rest in Peace
It is with great sadness that the Mount Diablo Surveyors Historical Society (MDSHS) and the Payne family announce the passing of James “Norman†Payne, PLS 4388 on March 12, 2012. Norman was 67 at the time of his death.
There was a Celebration of Life and Passing for Norman attended by family and a small group of close friends on July 7, 2012.
Norman was a founding member of MDSHS and its first Chairman and was also a Life Member of the Society.
