Anyone else havin’ nightmares? I just awoke from living in the Most-Complicated-Grading-Job-From-Hell . . . with Mr. Low S. Bidder.

I’m trying to explain grade-stakes to the grading contractor that has never graded as complicated cut-bank as this one, nor knows how to read stakes. But he sure as hell knows how to get work!

“Oh . . . that’s what that means?â€￾, he would agree, as enlightened and confident to hear of his promotion from third grade mathematics! . . . and I haven’t had slope staking job in YEARS!

When will Mr. Happy return?! :***(

I am glad it wasn't me.
I haven't had to calculate a slope in the field since I held a company on the job "Seminar" on that in Amarillo back in 96.
I haven't actually staked one since 2003. Makes me a wee bit out of practice. I would really hate to have to teach a contractor on top of bringing my brain up to speed on slope staking.
