I wanted to share with you an article in the April POB, featuring the use of the APS-3 GNSS receiver on the reconstruction of the banks of the Rio Grande in New Mexico.
The Surveying was performed by Shawn Eaton, PLS, president of Eaton Land Surveying (St. George, Utah). Many of you might know Mr. Eaton, or recently met him at the CLSA/NALS Conference in Las Vegas this March.
Shawn was able to use his ALTUS receivers as base stations to run the Trimble machine control, as well as rovers to perform topographic surveying and grade checking.
Shawn also speaks on how his business has adapted to the rapidly changing technology.
