Any suggestions why when I select "Survey" as my workspace, I don't see the Data Collection/Input drop down menu?

This is the process in LD2006 (hopefully it's similar in 2009):

1. Select: Tools>Customize>Interface (or cui on the command line)
2. Click on "Survey" in the "Customizations in All CUI Files" box (top left)
3. Click on "Customize Workspace" in "Workspace Contents" (top right)
4. Expand the tree in "Customizations in All CUI Files" (top left) under Partial CUI Files>Survey>Menus
5. Place a check mark in the box labeled "Data Collection/Input"
6. Click "Done" under "Workspace Contents" (top right)
7. Click "OK"

Note: You can use this same process to enable that drop down menu in any of your workspaces.

I sure wish I could get our company to switch from Terramodel, but this kind of complexity (read: versatility) is one of the reasons the engineers won't budge.

Blake,

Thank you very much. However, for some reason there is no way to expand the tree in "Customizations in All CUI Files" (top left) under Partial CUI Files>Survey>Menus. Menus is the end of the line. There is no box labeled "Data Collection/Input" to check under Menus.

Maybe try the autocad users group forum. It has helped me in the past.
I've found many areas have local acad users groups which I have gotten help from.

www.augi.com

Good luck and sorry I'm not more help than that.

Jeff
