I have been asked to edit the forthcoming third edition of Land Surveys: A Guide for Lawyers and Other Professionals. (Information on the second edition can be found at http://www.amazon.com/Land-Surveys-Lawy ... 1570737428.) Previous editors of this volume have included significant contributions from professional surveyors. I hope to continue this practice.

I would be interested in making contact with licensed surveyors who wish to contribute articles of a detailed but fundamentally practical nature to the upcoming volume. In particular, I am interested in the following topics:

1. Advances in rectified orthophotography and the increasing use of orthophotographic products in certified land surveying;
2. Disclosure practices under Table A item 15;
3. Third-party survey coordination (its plusses and minuses);
4. Condominium certification (an annotated model form); and
5. Surveying issues related to alternative energy development (including wind turbines and solar placements)

Deadline for assembling manuscripts is June 2009. With this in mind, I would like to hear from interested contributors by December 1.

Thank you for your help. Please feel free to call or e-mail me with any questions.
