So if the City of LA actually does start repairing sidewalks; I'll believe it when I see it (and if you've ever been to LA and seen the sidewalks - you would know how badly in disrepair they are), I hope they take precautions necessary to protect the ties and property line prods that are set all over the place. There are a lot of valuable properties with 80 year old sidewalks out in front with a ton of monuments set in them.

I suggest you get the local chapter to inform the LA DPW know what the law is.
