Win a Magnetic Locator Raffle!
Dear Surveying & Mapping Professional:
It is that time of year again! The Mt. Diablo Surveyors Historical Society is sponsoring our 8th annual metal locator raffle. This year we are offering a raffle for one Schonstedt, model# GA-92XTd Locator (Serial # 246757) valued by the manufacturer at $1,015.00.
The Winner will be determined by a random drawing held on February 26, 2008 at the conclusion of the exhibitors’ displays at the CLSA Conference 2008 at the Silver Legacy Resort & Casino, Reno, Nevada. Winner need not be present to win.
Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 and may be purchased from any MDSHS member or by mail. If you are interested in supporting our organization and feel lucky, checks should be made payable to "Mount Diablo Surveyors Historical Society" or "M.D.S.H.S" (Sorry, we cannot accept credit cards at this time.), or well-hidden cash (however MDSHS cannot be responsible for lost cash)
Mail orders using the attached order form with your name, street address, email address and phone number should be sent to:

Mailed entrees must be received by 5:00 pm, Wednesday, February 21, 2008. A receipt for tax purposes will also be provided if requested. Ticket stubs will be returned via U.S. Mail. In person ticket sales will be offered right up to the actual drawing.

Proceeds of the raffle will be used in support of the goals of the Mount Diablo Surveyors Historical Society to: "Collect, Preserve, and Display Artifacts of the Land Surveying Profession"
The Mount Diablo Surveyors Historical Society is a nonprofit public benefit tax-exempt corporation registered with the California Secretary of State's office (California corporation number C1835904) and is organized under IRS 501 (c) (3), (Federal # 8916806802). Any donations of monies, grants, or artifacts are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
