prior to Terry copies of newly submitted RoSs were sent to City Engineers and City Surveyors for comment on local knowledge, I don't know if he has continued that practice.

Yes, I do not know and I agree also about the distinction between the maps and ROS. I was generally referring to the BOB issue.

Sorry folks for not responding sooner, but my main computer crashed last week and I've been working off of my laptop dealing with other issues.

I'm not saying two monuments of record are mandatory, as long as you identify how you established the basis of bearing you are using. How can I follow the footsteps of your survey when you state the basis of bearing is "THE NORTHWEST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF PLUMBOB LANE" and there are no monuments (or accessories like curbs) to tie that out? To be clear and show how you established your boundary is all I am asking. When I was reviewing maps, If I was confused as a licensed surveyor attempting to follow your map, what is another surveyor going to assume, just a test.
